Details
Chamelauciums require an open sunny position with plenty of air movement. Have a low water requirement but during the drier months will appreciate irrigation. Produce masses of reddish purple flowers. Respond well to pruning after the flowering period of August to November. Best suited to well drained sandy soils and sandy loams, of neutral to slighlty acidic pH.
