A popular native grass grown for its soft fine green to grey foliage and produces attractive flower heads with a purple tint. Cut back to just above ground level late winter for fresh spring growth. Does best in a sunny to partly shaded position and prefers moist slightly acidic soils. Suitable for planting under trees, embankments and mass plantings.
