Prostanthera’s are an Australian native and found in parts of SA, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. Plant in a sunny position with well drained soil take care not to over water. P. ovafolia is the best known mint bush with soft elongated oval leaves. Aromatic foliage and masses of mauve - purple flowers in short end splays during spring. Benefit from a light prune after flowering.
